Lounge rules

Make yourself comfortable and enjoy your stay. To help everyone relax, please follow these house rules. KLM may update these rules without notice.

Access

  • To keep everyone in the lounge comfortable and safe, we may refuse entry if you're under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Proper attire is required in the lounge.
  • Uniformed crew are welcome! Please make sure to take off your jacket and epaulettes.

Food and drinks

  • Please drink alcohol in moderation.
  • We do not serve alcohol to anyone under 18.
  • Please don't bring outside food or drinks into the lounge.
  • Please don"t take food or drinks from the lounge.
  • Please don't take food or drinks on the escalator.

Sleeping

The lounge meant for relaxing or working. That's why it's not allowed to sleep on the couches. If you'd like to get some sleep, you can book a private sleep cabin for an extra charge. We also kindly ask you not to put your feet on the couches or tables.

Non-smoking airport

Smoking, chewing tobacco, and using electronic cigarettes are not allowed in the lounge. This includes the outside terrace in KLM Crown Lounge 52.

Pets

Only well-behaved pets in carry-on kennels and trained service dogs are welcome in the lounge. Pets are not allowed to sit on the couches and tables. They also cannot use lounge dishes. If a pet is disruptive, our staff may kindly ask you to take it out of the lounge. All KLM trained service dog policies apply to the lounge.

 

If you don't follow there rules, we may refuse entry or ask you to leave the lounge.

Prayer and reflection

Amsterdam Schiphol Airport has a Meditation Centre for prayer, meditation, or simply a quiet moment. They have books available in various languages. All religions welcome!
